Soins Cliniques Pour Les Survivants d’Agressions Sexuelles

Funded by the RAISE Initiative and in partnership with the University of California-Los Angeles, the IRC has created a new, French-language version of the CCSAS training, titled “Soins Cliniques Pour Les Survivants d’Agressions Sexuelles”. Like the English-language training, the French DVD and Facilitator’s Guide contain guidance and information for clinicians working in French-language settings, including re-enactments and case studies to illustrate the lessons in providing care.  Nearly half (47%) of the IRC’s primary beneficiaries are in Francophone countries, and so creating the new training represents a major expansion of the organization’s ability to support clinicians in providing compassionate, competent, and confidential care to sexual assault survivors.  We look forward to hearing feedback as the training begins to be used in the field.
